• HOW TO SHARPEN BLADE

Give customers details about the banner image(s) or content on the section.

  • Place bushing on guide rod

  • Hold at "nose" of tool while engaged with guide rod

  • Bring blade in glancing contact with file as you move it along rod. Do not "bear down" on file.

  • Round Corners

After sharpening blade, glide corners of blade across file to take off "burr" edges.

  • Blend Work

This allows for a smoother cut and the ability to blend work.

  • Correcting over sharpened blade

It only takes a few pulls to resharpen. Additional pulls can cause blade to "fold over" on itself resulting in a dull blade. To correct this, move backside of blade across file to remove burr edge. Once burr is removed, resharpen.
